What is the RunHome Newsletter?
RunHome covers all 3 running disciplines: road, track, and trail. Many of you are receiving this because you filled out a survey telling us what you wanted to see in running. We’re here to provide it.
This week we’re covering the biggest stories of the year—so far.
TRACK
Josh Kerr’s Massive Mile World Record
The biggest story in Track so far this year came from one of the long-time stars of middle distance running. He and his team confidently marketed the record attempt for months before he blasted the old record. His manifestation of the record paid off, blasting the nearly 30-year-old record by almost half-a-second.

ROAD
Sawe’s Sub-2 Barrier-Breaking Record
The top story in Road so far this year came in an super-fast race, with multiple racers knocking off the previous record and finally blowing the cap off the famed 2-hour marathon barrier for good, after Nike’s Breaking2 project did it in under non-eligible conditions in 2019.

TRAIL
Rachel Entrekin’s Big Race
The most remarkable thing in Trail wasn’t Rachel Entrekin beating every woman in the Cocodona 250 (yes, that’s a 250-mile race) field for a third time in a row—it was that she beat every man and set the overall course record at the same time.
